M/Y San Jose was carefully designed for navigating the Galapagos archipelago, with the comfort of her guests in mind, though without excessive luxury. This innovative yacht has been built in 2003–2004 and is classified as Tourist Superior Class. It accommodates up to 16 passengers in 8 stretched and comfortable twin cabins on the quieter front half of the main and upper deck (as far as possible from the engine room). It is equipped with two powerful engines that give a cruising speed of 10 knots (ca. 18,5 km/h).

San Jose is one of the larger 16 passenger yachts in Galapagos, guaranteeing an intimate and very exclusive experience in a comfortable way. Our certified professional crew and the knowledgeable, bilingual naturalist guide on board will do their utmost to convert your once in a lifetime cruise into the trip of your life!

4 lower deck double-occupancy cabinswith port hole, 4 upper deck double-occupancy cabins with window, air conditioning, private facilities, TV & DVD player in lounge area

Boat layout:

Very spacious indoor-outdoor seating areas and sun chairs. Interior dining room with coffee, tea and water service on the main deck. Large lounge and bar area with TV and DVD player for daily briefings.

Crew:

The Xavier III carries a team of seven crew members and one CEO Naturalist Guide well-versed in the local wildlife, vegetation and geology and certified by the Galápagos National Park Service.

Rate does not include:

  • Galapagos National Park Entrance Fee: USD 100.00 per person
  • Migratory Control Card: USD 20.00 per person
  • Ecogal Tax: USD 10.00 per person 
  • Soft drinks and alcoholics beverages.
  • Snorkelling equipment for rent on board. 
  • Tips.
